This week’s woman on fire is Celia Newman, an entrepreneur based out of Memphis, TN !! Celia is on because not only is she a lady of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., but she’s also the founder of a Premiere Semi Pro Women’s Basketball League called “She’s Got Game”, AND she’s the Founder & CEO of Elite Level Prep, a student-athlete life skills program to help them succeed in life both on and off the court ! Oh, and we can’t forget that she’s the Co-Founder of Up Next Consulting, which specializes in student athlete development and event planning.
On this week's episode of Mondays With Maurey, we are continuing our Women On Fire Series with our special guest, Britney L Clark ! She is the owner and operator of Inez Queen Water LLC, the newest and next up water brand that is rooted through Britney's relationship with her grandmother, and Britney's goal of building a community of supportive women (and men) that can feel welcomed and empowered to go after their dreams and be their best self!
Aside from Britney's brand, she is a corporate telecommunications executive, speaker, and teacher. She is a graduate of the 2014 class of Mississippi State University, and currently resides in Texas. Over the years, Britney has grown her flame through various speaking engagements focusing on leadership development, women's empowerment, and financial planning. Nowadays, she teaches montly self-development classes virtually, and serves as an online speaker for small busineses and socially responsible organizations.
As you listen to this Woman On Fire, you will find that the drive behind her story is unique, and through a sound mind and clear focus (and a little bit of risk), you will be able to see how in only a few short months, she has grown Inez Queen Water LLC to great heights and you too will be inspired by the path of growth that she is on that she created for herself and others!
