Mondays with Maurey

S1 E2 -BLACK LIVES MATTER - POLICE BRUTALITY

Listen Later

From serving in the Navy, to serving in law enforcement, Maurey sits down with Frank Nichols, the first black Police Chief of Starkville, Mississippi. Frank is now retired after serving for 31 years. He gives us a perspective unlike any other.

Frank remembers what it was like being on the front lines of policing. He remembers the interaction and actions of his counterparts during traffic stops. He remembers the race and origin of the targets they used to practice with during tactical training.

Frank discusses the solution all departments across the world should implement to make our world a better place. Make sure you're ready for the raw and uncut insight Frank gives us.
