S1 E4 • Fight Club (1999)
“I’d fight Ghandi”
In this episode, the lads take a trip down to nihilism-town and drink deep of the gritty, pulsating sounds offered up by the OST of David Fincher's cult classic, Fight Club. They’ll be exploring this eclectic score, weaving between the myriad genres served up by the Dust Brothers from industrial rock, and electronica to Middle-Eastern inspired exotica and cheery Yiddish pop.
The boys will have a sweaty wrassle with this eclectic and schizophrenic mix of sounds while discussing the film's underlying themes of rebellion, brutality, masculinity, and societal disenfranchisement… Cheer up goth!
Suffice it to say, this episode is a real (ahem) …knockout!
