S1 E9: TALKING 'BOUT OLD SCHOOL WESTBANK NOLA

Listen Later

✨ Mr. Troy Gerard Cotten is our special guest! ✨

💚 This episode is dedicated to the memory of our Archbishop Shaw High School Class of 1981 buddy, a true friend to many, Mr. Donald "Truck" Hymel! We will very proudly contribute to continuing the lore of Big Truck aka "Da ShowRunna"! 💚

Troy and I will be talking 'bout growing up in our home region on the Westbank of New Orleans from Old Algiers to Bridge City around the mid 1970's to the mid 80s! We are alumni of Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana. Troy was Class of '80 and I was Class of '82.

We're talking about some of the places that "Ain't there no more", the awesome Mardi Gras times as kids, Sports, hangouts when we were teens, the old Schwegmann's grocery stores, etc. etc.! Also, about hanging with our friends from back then AND we mentioned MANY names! LOL!! Needless to say a LOT OF LAUGHS are coming your way with Cotten's story telling! He is definitely an authority on "DA WANK"!

Hey my baby...we talkin' bout da OLD SCHOOL of the Westbank!! 😄
