S1 | Ep 20: Finding Yourself After An Abusive Relationship w/ Haily Holt

Listen Later

Haily opens up about "feeling like a baby just born" after fleeing an abusive relationship. She shares about finding her identity and getting to know herself. During the abuse, she lost touch with who she was and then afterwards, went through a process of dating herself to rediscover her personality, likes, and dislikes.

Haily Holt was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She has a B. S. in Electrical Engineering but has worked in a variety of roles from hardware design, firmware development, and technical customer support, and is currently the Release Program Manager at a large tech startup in Seattle. When finished with work for the day, she dons her own hair flower creations and transforms into her alter ego – a swing dancer! Haily dances Collegiate Shag and Lindy Hop, and teaches Collegiate Shag in the evenings for Swing It Seattle. Haily is a happy, bubbly force of nature who loves meeting new people!
