Patricia, Michael, and Charla discuss the period of transition after a breakup. Patricia initiated this conversation because most of the post breakup content she could find online revolved around heartbreak, bad karma if you break someone’s heart, or how to get your ex back. So, here is a different conversation.
It is possible to be intentional about what you are calling into your life going forward. This extends beyond romantic relationships– it is also an opportunity to evaluate whether you are in alignment in other areas of your life. This includes community, work, hobbies, spirituality, your relationship with yourself… We have experienced growth and transformation after breakups.
No matter how much it hurts, it is possible to heal. It is also possible to expand your capacity to love, and to create even greater alignment in your life than you had before.
When a significant relationship ends, it is normal and healthy to experience intense grief. The body’s response to this type of grief is very similar to a death. So, if you are struggling, you are not alone.
