The Transitions Podcast

S1 | Ep 44: How to Hibernate w/ Laura Webber

Listen Later

Patricia and Laura discuss how to slow down, especially in winter. This was prompted by the hustle and bustle of the winter season, and a desire to explore the purpose of each season

Laura Webber (she/her) engages in research and practice at the intersection of trauma healing, embodiment, social neuroscience, social justice, and peacebuilding. She centers a healing-based and whole-being approach as she engages in work toward conflict transformation from the individual to the collective. Laura is particularly passionate about supporting peace practitioners and activists to nurture and build their resilience and sustainability. She currently works as an independent contractor with peacebuilding and social change organizations in a variety of capacities including research, program design, and evaluation. Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Vassar College, and a Master’s of Arts in Peace and Justice from the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego.
