There's a lot lying beneath the surface when it comes to our reasonings for choosing not to have kids, or to wait til later, or to adopt. A lot of pain, a lot of fear, a lot of confusion, and quite honestly? A lot of disinterest in several of the things that come with carrying a child and raising one.
