Rotary was founded in late February, 2024.  Felecia, a member of the Rotary Club of Ambergris Caye had initiated some meetings in learning about on-island blood donations pre-COVID.  It was in this search that Laurie, aka blogger tacogirl, presented her with a 3 ring binder presentation from November 2022 detailing some plans to advance and strengthen blood collection and processing services on the island of Ambergris Caye.
