Lend a Hand Bahamas is a Bahamian nonprofit community-development organization based in Nassau. Founded in 2014, it focuses on expanding educational opportunities, workforce skills, food security, disaster relief, and community resilience in underserved neighborhoods, particularly the Grant’s Town and Bain’s Town areas of Nassau.
The organization works to strengthen communities through programs that promote education, health, economic opportunity, and long-term self-sufficiency. Its stated goal is to create brighter futures through collaboration with local and international partners while serving children, youth, and adults. Programs have included literacy initiatives, STEM education, workforce development, hydroponic farming, and community support services.
