Our vision for the Breadfruit House is to offer children of Dominica an inspiring, encouraging, and safe place to explore their creativity, to express their emotions, and to tell their stories.

Hear from Hope, who started as a volunteer and then became a teacher at Project Esperanza. The mission of Project Esperanza is to serve the Haitian immigrant/refugee population of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.  They focus on the areas of education, social aid, and community development. Hear how Hope started making children’s books and worked as a music and art teacher. Become a volunteer for their summer English camp or after-school program. Bring hope and make a difference in a child’s life!
