It's the start of Amanda's least favorite plot arc (well, until season 7 rolled around) in Season 1, episode 14, "Nightmare," in which Sam's freaky visions lead him to Michigan and another "special child" named Max who's telekinetically offing his abusive family one by one. Dean does the recap, Amanda does the bitching, and Dean gives us the Best Song of the episode.
