First thing is first we LOVE SZA with all the love we have in our hearts and soul, and CTRL is an album that has resonated on so many levels with us and we are so happy we get to talk about it finally. We talk about SZA's song "The Weekend", and we asked our listeners to send us voice memos or messages with their opinions and experiences about it. We go through the submissions during the episode and give our own opinions as well. Some listeners gave good insight as to the reasoning behind maybe being down to be a side hoe, others talked about how they found out they were a side hoe, some say they could never do it out of respect and the fear of karma! Then we read some savage ass tweets. It gets messy and real today. SZA wrote the song to talk about the empowerment she felt accepting that she wasn't the only one on someone's roster and claims it's not a side hoe song, but we're going off the lyrics and got this topic covered from all the angles.
