You are making progress. Real, visible, undeniable progress. And you have absolutely no idea what to do when someone notices.
At first they cannot quite put their finger on it. They look at you and say... "Did you get a haircut?" And you can just laugh and say, "No! But I lost some weight so maybe my hair looks shorter! I feel great, thanks for noticing!"
And then a little further down the road they get more specific. "Have you lost weight?" And most of us deflect. We minimize. We say oh it is nothing, I still have so far to go.
In this episode I want to teach you something really important. Accept the compliment. Own your work. Say it out loud. And then add three little words that pivot the whole conversation and turn your progress into an opportunity to encourage someone else.
Because the truth is... people do not ask because of YOU. They ask because of THEM. You are an inspiration. And owning your results is not bragging β it is giving someone else permission to begin their own comeback story.
What we cover:
Your tiny step from this episode:
The next time someone notices your progress β do not deflect. Look them in the eye and say thank you. And mean it. You earned it.
