Today in the Slovak lesson you will learn how to say "I work", "I study" and a few more verbs that will help you describe your midday routine in the present tense. Then we will use them in short sentences. 

Slovak lesson
1.     pracovať (to work)
2.     študovať (to study)
3.     nakupovať (to shop)
4.     variť (to cook)
5.     piecť (to bake)
6.     obedovať (to have lunch)
7.     umývať riady (to wash the dishes)
8.     upratovať (to clean)
9.     prať (to do the laundry)
10. žehliť (to iron)
11. kosiť trávu (to mow the grass) 

Sentences
1.     Pracujem každý deň. (I work every day.)
2.     Musím zarobiť peniaze. (I have to earn money.)
3.     Každý deň musím jesť. (I have to eat every day.)
4.     Každý deň musím piť. (I have to drink every day.)
5.     Nemusím variť každý deň. (I don‘t have to cook every day.)
6.     Môžem ísť do reštaurácie. (I can go to a restaurant.)
7.     Potom nemusím variť. (Then I don‘t have to cook.)
8.     Nemusím umývať riady. (I don‘t have to wash the dishes.)
9.     Ale musím mať peniaze. (But I have to have money.)
10. A preto musím pracovať každý deň. (And that‘s why I have to work every day.)
