Last time we practiced some Slovak verbs that are describing someone’s daily routine. Today you are going to learn how to describe your evening routine in the present tense. We‘ll review some words from the previous episodes and add a few new ones to it. Then we will use them in short sentences.
Slovak lesson
1. večerať (to have dinner)
2. odpočívať (to rest)
3. čítať noviny (to read the newspaper)
4. počúvať rádio (to listen to the radio)
5. pozerať televízor (to watch TV)
6. hrať na klavír (to play piano)
7. hrať karty (to play cards)
8. hrať sa s deťmi (to play with children)
9. prechádzať sa v parku (to stroll in a park)
10. ísť do kina (to go to a movie theater)
Sentences
1. Čo robíš dnes večer? (What are you doing tonight?)
2. Idem do kina. (I’m going to a movie theater.)
3. A ty? (And you?)
4. Moja priateľka a ja ideme na koncert. (My girlfriend and I are going to a concert.)
5. To je super! (That’s cool!)
6. Nemyslím. (I don’t think so.)
7. Prečo? (Why?)
8. Je to klasický concert. (It is a classical concert.)
9. No a čo!? (So what!?)
10. Chcem pozerať televízor. (I want to watch TV.)
