Apostate Christianity has created a poor impression over the past 2,000 years regarding the celebration of the birth of Jesus. 

Drunkenness, sport, and excessive spending—along with many other pagan concepts—have been incorporated into the human perception of Christmas celebrations. Make no mistake, such notions are blasphemous to the name of Jesus. Nevertheless, correct concepts are essential to our understanding, for many of our cherished beliefs about our relationship with God center on myths, not scriptural facts!
