The Church's purpose is to produce overcomers: both bride members (Revelation 14:3-5) and saints (Revelation 2: 9-10). Satan's purpose is to oppose the work of God. If he can cause the Church to fail in its intended purpose, then he has succeeded. Brother Singh explains that the devil succeeds when he turns an organism into an organization, corrupts God's saints' purity, or dilutes the ministry. If the Church were to fail, Jesus would be unable to establish the kingdom.
