Despite our fallen nature, Brother Singh encourages us that "the elect" were predestined to conform to Christ's image.  As COVId-19 ravishes young and old, neighbor and stranger, sinner and saint, it is essential to remember that what God uses to judge the ungodly, is chastisement for the elect. Sickness may be part of God’s purging process just as beatings, lashes and shipwreck were to Paul.  "Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow." (Ps. 51:7) Hyssop was a type of herb that was used both for medical purposes and in purification ceremonies. In the 21st Century, repentance is our hyssop!
