With the recent news of Roe v. Wade most likely being overturned, this episode felt very necessary. Abortion is a human right but also we as humans with uteruses do not owe an explanation as to why abortion is medically necessary for our well being every time the topic is brought up. Abortion rights is an issue that directly relates to and effects the "wellness" community on social media. If you claim space in that community and are not talking about the necessity for abortion to continue to be legalized then you are very privileged in your health. While you may never get an abortion in your life, there are millions of people who will. Thinking that your existence deems you worthy enough to control another's is a new level of audacity. While I don't think pro-birthers can be convinced otherwise, maybe this conversation will get through to someone. We, as people with uteruses, are desperate for people to listen and to care for once.
