Life has been going through its usual waves recently and I've been trying my best to fully lean into them rather than yearning for the plateaus. I had a family member pass recently which really re-ignited my need to live life to the fullest. It's often hard to have that mentality when it is such a privileged ideology to hold. I'm blessed that my financial, work, housing, and life situations lend me to be able to think that way. I infamously had a mild breakdown this time last year about how I'm not doing enough and I'm not having these "crazy" experiences. While I've done a lot to change the course of my life to lend itself to the structure I want it to have, I've also realized that being content is the main goal. I want to be content in the everyday minutia of life. I don't want to be waiting for the next wild experience or wait until I have more money or wait until the perfect opportunity arises. At the end of the day, we have one life in these bodies and I'm not going to waste it by not appreciating every second.
