The Stuff Under the Stuff: Gaslighting (Part II) – We Said No, He Said Yes
Last week, I shared the story of gaslighting, betrayal, and the painful discovery that the marriage I thought I had was built on a perception instead of reality. This week, we pick up where that story left off.
Sitting in a U-Haul with a broken heart, a hearing disability that terrified me, and no idea what came next, I found myself leaning on God in a way I never had before. What I thought was the end of my story turned out to be the beginning of God's restoration.
In this deeply personal episode, I share how God rebuilt my trust, taught me the difference between hearing His voice and following my own desires, and brought an unexpected person back into my life. Jason and I both swore we would never get married again, but God had other plans.
We'll talk about healing after deception, learning to trust again, asking the hard questions, waiting on God's answers, and discovering that redemption is often found on the other side of our greatest disappointments.
