This week we deny everything (mainly that we are now a Scully-less nation) while we discuss “Ascension”! We’re talking Mulder’s rough meeting of the in-laws, how bad of a double agent Krycek is, and Cancer Man’s munching of unlit cigarettes. We admire Mr. X’s Batman lips, laugh at Mulder’s teenage sass, and jam to Nick Cave needle drops. We admire Skinner’s trench-coated crew, cheer as the X-Files are reopened, and cry as necklaces are tenderly gifted. We also spend some time on an all-important question: Is Mulder or Krycek the big spoon?
