Love Your REAL Life Podcast

S2 | Ep 16: When It’s Time to Stop What No Longer Aligns

Listen Later

In this episode of The Love Your REAL Life Podcast, I’m continuing the conversation from last week about why most routines don’t stick — and sharing an important shift that’s often overlooked.

Sometimes the most supportive change isn’t starting something new.

It’s stopping something I keep doing that no longer aligns with my values.

Especially during seasons of healing, after betrayal, or in the middle of big life changes, I’ve noticed how easy it is to stay in patterns out of obligation or shame — even when they drain us and keep us from doing what we actually want to be doing. In this episode, I talk about how to notice what feels “off,” name it with compassion, and begin choosing actions that are in alignment.

In This Episode, We Explore:
  1. Why routines often don’t stick when we are living in misalignment
  2. What it can look like to act against your values without realizing it
  3. Real-life examples of misalignment
  4. How doing this, even in small ways can help lighten the weight of what you are carrying and allow space for the intentional actions you want to do

Reflection to Try:

Ask yourself:

  1. Where do I feel bad around something I keep doing?
  2. What value of mine is being ignored here?
  3. What would it look like to honor that value — even a little?

Bio

I specialize in supporting women who have experienced infidelity and are ready to reclaim their power, rebuild trust in themselves, and create a life they truly love.

As a holistic nurse and wellness coach, I weave together mindful nutrition, movement, mindset work, and nervous system regulation to help women reconnect with their bodies and their inner strength.

While my heart is in guiding women through the healing process after betrayal, I also work with clients on a wide range of wellness goals—helping them create sustainable routines and habits that align with their values and vision for a thriving life.

Outside of my work, I’m married to my soulmate, Seth, and I’m blessed to be a mom, stepmom, grandma, and mother-in-law. Family time is at the top of my list. I also have amazing friends and get together regularly with them, supper club, book club, backpacking & hiking, daily walks, yoga, reading, traveling to exciting places, creative projects, and organizing spaces to create a cozy, welcoming home.

***Making any lifestyle changes is from my own experience and/or other clients personal experiences and may not be suited for you. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your health professional before making changes in your own life. By engaging in anything that I talk about, you agree that you do so at your own risk.
