Relationships, Finances & WorkIn the final episode of the Spring Cleaning Your Holistic Life series, we shift our focus to three external areas that have a powerful impact on how we experience our daily lives:
Relationships, Financial Health, and Work.
Over the past two weeks we’ve explored your inner world: our thoughts, emotions, spiritual life, and personal growth and the foundations that support our daily life through your body and your home.
This week we look at the structures around you.
These areas often carry pressure, expectations, and responsibilities, but they are also places where alignment can create meaningful change.
RelationshipsRelationships shape so much of our experience.
This includes romantic relationships, friendships, family, and professional connections.
When we spring clean this area of our life is about becoming aware of how your relationships affect your energy and well-being and how we can make small changes that have a big impact. Since this area of our holistic health and life can include a lot of different types of relationships and specific people, for the journaling look write out specific relationships to answer the following questions.
Journal Prompts
- Which relationships feel supportive and energizing?
- Are there relationships that consistently leave me feeling drained, name these specifically?
- Am I communicating my needs honestly in these relationships?
- Are there boundaries I need to strengthen or create?
And then ask yourself- how do I want to feel in my relationships (this can be 1 feeling for how you want to feel overall or you could make it specific feelings for specific relationships.
And then ask yourself what specific actions will help you feel that way.
Come up with 1 small intentional action to start right now.
Financial HealthFinancial health is about awareness and alignment, not perfection or who is doing it right or wrong.
Money impacts your sense of security and freedom.
Spring cleaning your finances often starts with simply looking at them with curiosity instead of avoidance.
Journal Prompts
- Do I regularly check in with my finances or tend to avoid them?
- Does the way I spend money reflect what matters most to me?
- Where does money create stress or tension in my life?
And then ask yourself- how would I like to feel when it comes to money and finances?
What are the actions that would help me feel that way?
Come up with 1 small intentional action from those.
WorkThe way I approach work is by looking at what we spend our days doing. So it applies if you have a job outside of your home, or if you are a stay at home parent or spouse, or retired.
This area is looking at how your work aligns with your values, energy, and sense of purpose.
Journal Prompts
- How do I feel about the work I’m doing right now?
- Do I feel energized or drained by my daily responsibilities?
- Does my work reflect what I value most?
And then ask yourself- how do I want to feel when it comes to my work?
List the actions that would help me feel that way.
What is 1 small intentional action to help me move towards that feeling?
Bringing the Series TogetherOver the past three weeks, we’ve walked through the 8 pillars of holistic health:
- Mental & Emotional
- Spiritual
- Learning & Education
- Home
- Physical
- Relationships
- Financial
- Work
The goal in this is not to overhaul our entire lives, but start to notice where things feel aligned and when they feel cluttered. Getting in touch with how you want to feel and then creating small intentional actions to feel that way.
Because loving your REAL life isn’t about perfection or what other people think we should be doing, It’s about getting in touch with who we are and leading from there.

Bio
I specialize in supporting women who have experienced infidelity and are ready to reclaim their power, rebuild trust in themselves, and create a life they truly love.
As a holistic nurse and wellness coach, I weave together mindful nutrition, movement, mindset work, and nervous system regulation to help women reconnect with their bodies and their inner strength.
While my heart is in guiding women through the healing process after betrayal, I also work with clients on a wide range of wellness goals—helping them create sustainable routines and habits that align with their values and vision for a thriving life.
Outside of my work, I’m married to my soulmate, Seth, and I’m blessed to be a mom, stepmom, grandma, and mother-in-law. Family time is at the top of my list. I also have amazing friends and get together regularly with them, supper club, book club, backpacking & hiking, daily walks, yoga, reading, traveling to exciting places, creative projects, and organizing spaces to create a cozy, welcoming home.
***Making any lifestyle changes is from my own experience and/or other clients personal experiences and may not be suited for you. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your health professional before making changes in your own life. By engaging in anything that I talk about, you agree that you do so at your own risk.
