Love Your REAL Life Podcast

S2 | EP 19: Rebuilding Trust in a New Relationship

Listen Later

Today’s episode is a very special and vulnerable one for me.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking about self-love, dating again after betrayal, and what it looks like to build healthy love. But today, I wanted you to hear from someone else.

I’m sitting down with my husband to talk about what it was like starting a relationship with someone who had previously experienced infidelity.

We talk honestly about:

  1. Building trust when fear is still present
  2. Navigating triggers and moments of insecurity
  3. Why patience and consistency mattered more than grand gestures
  4. What emotional safety actually looked like in real life
  5. How transparency and boundaries helped our relationship grow
  6. The small actions that made the biggest difference

This conversation isn’t about perfection.

It’s about real-life , it's about love and hope.

If you are starting to date again, in a new relationship, or wondering whether a healthy relationship is possible — I hope this episode gives you hope and clarity.

A Few Key Takeaways From This Episode:
  1. Safe love moves at a steady pace.
  2. Consistency builds trust more than intensity.
  3. Emotional safety is created through small, repeated actions.
  4. You are not “too much” for needing reassurance.
  5. A healthy relationship is built together.

Bio

I specialize in supporting women who have experienced infidelity and are ready to reclaim their power, rebuild trust in themselves, and create a life they truly love.

As a holistic nurse and wellness coach, I weave together mindful nutrition, movement, mindset work, and nervous system regulation to help women reconnect with their bodies and their inner strength.

While my heart is in guiding women through the healing process after betrayal, I also work with clients on a wide range of wellness goals—helping them create sustainable routines and habits that align with their values and vision for a thriving life.

Outside of my work, I’m married to my soulmate, Seth, and I’m blessed to be a mom, stepmom, grandma, and mother-in-law. Family time is at the top of my list. I also have amazing friends and get together regularly with them, supper club, book club, backpacking & hiking, daily walks, yoga, reading, traveling to exciting places, creative projects, and organizing spaces to create a cozy, welcoming home.

***Making any lifestyle changes is from my own experience and/or other clients personal experiences and may not be suited for you. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your health professional before making changes in your own life. By engaging in anything that I talk about, you agree that you do so at your own risk.
