I have shared my views on the causes of FOMO, including the influence of social media, feeling of deprivation and the fear of exclusion. The effects of FOMO can be detrimental, leading to anxiety, stress, and a sense of isolation. However, if we try to fight it out, there are effective remedies to combat FOMO. Limiting social media use, shifting focus to gratitude and what we have, being present in the moment, and seeking professional help if necessary can significantly improve our mental well-being.
