Today in Season 2, episode 6, I interview young Brisbane runner in America, Gus Gannon. Gus attended the prestigious private school of BBC in Brisbane finishing in the year of 2021. In 2022 Gus had an amazing running year, improving his 1500m to 10k times drastically. These significant improvements allowed Gus to be accepted into Rice University in America where he trains predominantly toward the 1500m, 3000m and steeple events. Although only 20 this year, Gus’ experience with prominent Brisbane club Intraining from a very young age, Pat Chlohessy’s elite group through highschool and now his time in America, make for a very interesting and informative episode.
