嗨！新的一年我找來了我的好朋友 Mary 瑪莉老師跟大家一起聊聊這篇出自The Guardian 衛報的新聞：45 Ways to Slightly Improve Your Life (Without Really Trying) 《45種稍稍 (不需要多努力) 改善生活的方式》，這次 Podcast 是我們第一次合作，默契上可能還沒有很到位也請大家多多指教～ 我們挑了七個方法，會分成上下兩集播出！

1️⃣ Keep a book in your bag to avoid the temptation to doomscroll.
在包包裡放本書，來遠離「陰暗刷屏」的誘惑。
📝 temptation (n.) 誘惑
📝 doomscroll (v.) 陰暗刷屏 （這個字指的是沈迷於社群網路上，整天刷新各種令人沮喪的新聞，這個新字由兩部分組合而來 doom 當作名詞代表「死亡，毀滅」的意思，scroll 當作動詞代表「捲動頁面往下」的意思。）
2️⃣ On the fence about a purchase? Wait 72 hours before you buy it.
還在猶豫要不要買下去嗎？等72個小時後再買吧！
📝 on the fence (phr.) 持觀望態度
📝 impulse buying (n.) 衝動購物
3️⃣ Be polite to rude strangers - it’s oddly thrilling.
有禮貌的對待沒禮貌的陌生人，這種感覺怪得很令人興奮。
📝 catcall (v.) 吹口哨 (性騷擾的舉動)
📝 consequence (n.) 後果 (常用複數)
4️⃣ Ignore the algorithm - listen to music outside your usual taste.
忽略演算法，聽不是自己一般喜好的音樂。
