Ahhh... well, the title speaks for itself.

We are not perfect. Let the truth bomb sink in, lol.

Being Christian does not make you..."perfect".

For those of us who have chosen to follow Jesus, we are still prone to sickness, sin and life, lifing at us.

There's not some special immunity that a believer has to life and the imperfections thereof. Trust me, it would be nice if there were.

So, where does that leave us? What advantage is there then to following Jesus if there are no perfections to be obtained in the here and now?

What we have, as Jesus followers...are His many promises!

1 Corinthians 1:20 in the Amplified Bible says this:

So, we may not have "perfection" in this life...but I'd take God's guaranteed promises over perfections, any day of the week!
