Well...for starters...we lost about 5 minutes of audio at the end of the recording...so the ending may seem a little abrupt.
I guess we're living up to the idea of "It's Simply Difficult", LOL! Unintentionally of course.
To be honest...this last episode felt rushed...
But...
That's life at times, isn't it?
Lots of hurry and go, go, go and frankly, at times, you've just got to push through it because quitting isn't an option.
Kids still have to be taken care of, bills still have to be paid, jobs still have to be completed and so on...
Life goes on and.......it's simply difficult. But...we can do it.
Go ahead...have a little cry if you need to...you can do this...this life thing!
YOU CAN DO IT FRIENDS!
Sometimes the audio quits working...sometimes the tire blows a flat...sometimes the microwave blows up (we hope not, LOL)...you get what we're saying though...and you just have to keep going...even though it's difficult.
So, let's pull up our bootstraps together and keep truckin'!
Life may keep on lifing...but simultaneously we will keep on keeping on!
Amen to that!!!

Life can feel simply difficult at times.
Plain and "simple" . No pun intended, LOL.
Here's the thing...
The way we think about ourselves and the way we see ourselves in HUGE to our turnaround.
We MUST begin to see ourselves the way God sees us.
This is simple, yet can feel very difficult.
Not impossible...just difficult.I
f you can relate...keep your head up.
The love of the Father has power to change us!
He loves you deeply! So much so that He sent His Son to die in our place for our sin.
Please check out this ministry, we believe they will bless you!

Life is tough.
So, the Christian must be tougher.
How do we gain strength to make it through life's high's and low's?
Lucy and I do our best to gracefully tackle this topic in a part 2 of high's and low's.
We ask again...
How much grace are you walking in today?
God's got you friends!
We're praying for you!-Connect with us!Instagram/TikTok/Facebook: @contextforcultureAlso find us on Apple Podcasts & SpotifyPastor Kristopher MaysFacebook: @kristophermnation
Life comes with many high's & low's.
It's how we navigate them that matters.
Life is always...well.......lifing.
We stay reminded of that frequently at Reimagine Church.
You and I need grace...and bucket loads of it.
How much grace are you walking in today?
You deserve it...grace.
More importantly...God's got grace for you!
Let's talk about it!--Connect with us!TikTok/Facebook: @contextforcultureAlso find us on Apple Podcasts & SpotifyPastor Kristopher MaysFacebook: @kristophermnation

In part 2 of "You Are Worthy", Lucy and I continue our conversations about grace.
Grace truly is a MASSIVE topic. We could honestly do an entire season just on grace.
How much grace are you walking in today? God's grace applied to you...Grace for yourself...
Do you have enough? Are you running on empty?
Trust God...He thinks you are worth it! All His time and all His grace!

#culture #grace #worthy Grace.
It's wonderful.
The best part...
It's free.
Not, that it didn't cost anything however...it did. Jesus gave His life so that WE could be saved by grace through faith in Him.
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. - EPHESIANS 2:8-9 | NLT
Honestly, the best thing we could do now...knowing all this...is stop counting ourselves as unworthy of God's grace.
Jesus gave His life so that we could experience grace.
Trust Him...you were worth it.-Connect with us!Instagram/TikTok/Facebook: @contextforcultureAlso find us on Apple Podcasts & SpotifyPastor Kristopher MaysInstagram/TikTok/Facebook: @kristophermnation

In today's episode, Lucy and I continue our conversation about being real.
We've covered some important topics (in part 1) about church culture such as prayer and communion...but something that we can't overlook is the Christian's need to be real, authentic and genuine.
The culture of community within the church is easily connected to our capacity to be real.
Live holy and thrive ya'll! Practice humility and be genuinely authentic!
We literally have SO much love for you and so does Jesus!

Does life for you feel messy right now, but still, things seem to be working anyhow?
That's because God has you right where you need to be.
Don't fret!
There is often a battle before the blessing!
Today, as we continue to unpack the culture of the Church, we talk a bit about communion and prayer...among some other things...
What's most important though as we endeavor into the mechanics of church life is that God's people be real.
Be really real.
It matters.
Live a life that is life giving. Be a church that echoes the same.
Let's dig in!

Here we are in season 3 of The On God Podcast!
In this season we are going to make an attempt to bring context to the culture of the Church.
Honestly, there are probably A LOT of directions we could go on this topic.
God knows...so we trust that He will lead us!
Lucy and I are excited to be back at it again...piecing together something that we hope is helping. That's all we want. To help bring context to culture through our discussions, experience and most importantly, through the lens of God's Word, the Bible.
So.......the Church. It's made up of people. And people are messy creatures.
I, Pastor Kris, personally believe that one of the most critical things we could endeavor into as the Church, is to provide a place...a home...where people feel like they belong, like they are part of a family, something bigger and better than joining a club or a gym membership.
The Church...the people and the building should be a place of hope and healing, a place where broken people can come and find Jesus.
And in the Church we believe there is a place for you!
Period.
With that said...let's do this!-Connect with us!Instagram/TikTok/Facebook: @contextforcultureAlso find us on Apple Podcasts & SpotifyPastor Kristopher MaysFacebook: @kristophermnation
