Betty Laura Zapata is an award winning documentary photographer from Venezuela but is based in London, England. She focuses on long-term projects that document social issues, political conflict, health, immigration and gender violence. Betty Laura's work has been published on Channel 4, in The New York Times Lens, in Vanity Fair, on the BBC, among others The episode was recorded in March 2022.
