As we welcome Michelle to The Snarking Lot, we go on a journey of grief, hope, and love through the lens of her experience since losing her mom to a cancer battle nearly two decades ago. In the years since, she’s experienced a wide range of grief stages, culminating now with raising money for a nonprofit that serves children who’ve lost parents at young ages. Michelle took it to a new level most recently by being sponsored by Empower to run the New York City Marathon as a charity runner and raise more than $11,400 in support of its important mission. She did it for her mama.
