S2E03 - POD-CACHE Hows - How we made our podcast

Listen Later

Hi and welcome to POD-CACHE, the portable CPD and best practice podcast from CACHE, presented by Dawn Newman - Editor of www.CACHEAlumni.org.uk, the free professional membership network for those working in Care, Early Years and Education.

This week's episode is a little bit different and our first 'one voice' episode.  It's also a lot shorter than our usual pieces of portable CPD!

In these unexpected and extraordinary circumstances, you might be looking for ways to share your sector knowledge, support colleagues or provide information to learners that they can listen to when they're 'feeling it'.  We know that many people are overwhelmed and that the idea of speaking to a live and remote audience of learners can be scary, so lots of people are looking to podcasts to help share what they know (or what their audience need to know!)

We've recorded a short podcast about how we set up Pod-CACHE, for free, with no technical know-how and a mobile phone, so that you can try setting up your own, whether you're looking for a way to share with learners who will access your private podcast via a link or password, or you'd like to share your expertise and grow an audience.

If you would like to join CACHE Alumni, the association for professional caregivers, you can find us at www.cachealumni.org.uk.

Membership is free and you'll find lots more examples of best practice, great sector insight and opinion from subject specialists across Care, Education and Early Years.

You can follow Dawn on Twitter at @DawnConnieM and on LinkedIn as Dawn Constance Mulvaney for information and updates about CACHEAlumni.org.uk.

Until next time.... Take care.
