Suzanne (Suzie) is a new friend of mine whom I look up to in so many ways. Our conversation today will help you get into an easy way to pray and how to hear from God. Something that is so important and vital to building our relationship with our Savior. 
 
 She is an ECPA bestselling author, podcaster, and is frequently listed as a Top 100 Christian women blogger. She’s an International speaker and Bible teacher, ministering to women across the U.S. and in several countries.

She is the author of 12 books. Her most recent is Prayer Starters: Talking with God about Hard Times (a creative and interactive prayer book) that we chat about in this conversation. Suzie served as a writer and team member of Proverbs 31 Ministries for 14 years, and was a contributor for Encouragement for Today and First5.org.

She’s co-host, along with Holley Gerth and Jennifer Watson, of More Than Small Talk with the KLRC network podcast. She the host of Prayer Starters, a daily 2-3 minute prayer podcast.
 
 Suzie is the mom to three grown children and their spouses, wife to Richard, and “Gaga” to six beautiful grandchildren. When she’s not writing, she’s with her family, hiking, cycling, kayaking, dancing with her littles at the Farmer’s Market, filling the kitchen with her love language of cooking, and holding conversations of faith around the table.
