Today's conversation is with a great new friend of mine who has a heart to serve like Jesus. Erica Cook is a woman after God's own heart and I can't wait for you to hear this chat!

Erica was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. She is the oldest of a blended family of 9. Her and her husband will celebrate 24 years of marriage this summer and they have two beautiful children.  She has an elementary education degree but other than some substitute teaching over the years she has primarily helped on their family’s bison ranch in LaGrange County , Indiana where she gets to be a host to several groups each year. Erica currently serves as the Director of Connections at her church and God has really taken her through a sifting process the last few years and opened up doors she wasn’t looking for.  God is definitely working with Erica to spread his love and light to those around her. Besides serving her family and church, she loves a great cup of fancy coffee with a big helping of genuine conversations with others. She serves God with open hands, fully surrendered to what he has for her life. 

 Our conversation today is focused on how to serve like Jesus calls us to do. Not just in our communities but in our homes as well. Being the hands and feet of Christ is not always easy but spreading the love of God can be when we have a heart to serve Jesus alone.
