I think it is fair to say that all things digital were the crave of the 1980's. The introduction of the 'indestructible' compact disc made people throw away their record collection. Seriously, especially in the 1990's buying a vinyl record was frowned upon. We also saw the introduction of the SPARS code to identify to what extent the recording, mixing and manufacturing has been digital. Those buying cd's in the 1980's know what I am talking about. As the quality of the cd is being questioned, the new wave of vinyl records also happened due to improved quality. Find out more in this episode.
