In this episode I talk about insecure attachment, why it develops, how it shows up in our relationships, and what we can do to heal.
When our needs are not met in childhood we often learn to cling, people-please, or suppress ourselves to feel safe. Years later those same patterns return in love. We become hyper-attuned to our partner, panic when they pull away, and sometimes sabotage the very closeness we long for.
I share how this has played out in my own life and explore ways we can begin to change. Awareness, nervous system regulation, new beliefs about love, and safe connection all help us step into healing.
Finally, I remind us of the deeper perspective that beneath all these struggles we are already whole and already love.
