Psychological safety, abundance & pleasure, trauma-informed - you might be hearing these terms a bit more frequently these days. But what does it really mean to create psychological safety and to be truly trauma-informed? In today’s episode, Dr. Lee is defining the terms and diving deep into what trauma, safety & abundance really means so you are able to make these IMPORTANT distinctions for yourself. Let’s dive in with her as we start to become really aware of how these concepts are showing up in our daily lives.

She’s exploring:

  • The definitions of trauma, safety & pleasure - and how to recognize and distinguish them in your daily life!
  • Distinguishing between the 2 T’s of trauma
  • The common conditioning we have around processing trauma - and what our bodies want to do instead
  • Why trauma & safety are not on opposite ends of the spectrum
  • How our pleasure activities could be a symptom of past traumas or habits (and how to redefine pleasure so we can feel the enjoyment & satisfaction we are searching for)
  • And so much more!
