: Representation matters on all types of stages, but the one Ingrid dances on requires  a surprising trick or two and urgency in her motion.  𝙶𝚎𝚝 𝚃𝚘 𝙺𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝙸𝚗𝚐𝚛𝚒𝚍: She was born in Rio de Janerio, Brazil. Ingrid started ballet through a community out-reach program, then trained at Dançando Para Não Dançar. Now she currently performs with the Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City.
