This episode is a juicy one, talking fights, being bullied in school and reconnecting with friends without social media. Sam and his good friend Alastair Robertson recently reconnected after 10-15 years of losing touch which lead to a trip down memory lane.
High school wasn’t particularly a pleasant experience for both Sam and Al as they were mostly picked on and bullied for being the minority, an Asian.
Although they both went to the same school, both their experiences and thought process varied quite differently. Not to mention that Al was bullied in both Australia and in the Philippines for being a multi-ethnic kid.
Being bullied is never a place that anyone wants to be in, so we wanted to dig deep into the emotions and thoughts they were going through during the times. The life lessons they’ve learnt and how they have changed from those days. We say adversity makes you stronger and we definitely feel both Sam and Al have grown into such stronger people, inside and out.
Tune in today to hear their stories.
