The party ventures toward the magical location where their next legendary artifact resides. They pick up Ghorlorz on the way using Siri's tree transit system so he can deal with the orcs at the settlement near their objective.

At the settlement the adventurers find a mysterious old man who has been spared by the orcs. They investigate his dealings and purpose in a brief interview.

The party then ventures into Khalero's Caverns, a dim cave system made of connected corridors, a stone wall covered in vines, a makeshift camp, and a suspended bridge leading to a wooden loft.

They explore the inside of the loft for a bit, only to return and knock on the door.
