Watering Br. Singh's message on "Developing Spiritual Discernment," Br. Sam emphasized that the Holy Spirit must touch both the preacher and the hearer to spark God's life into our lives. Discernment enables us to know good from evil and error from truth.  It is a gift from God, not something we can achieve through human intellect. Jesus said, "If you continue in my word {my teachings}, you are truly my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32)
