Brother John's example of faithfulness for over four and half decades encourages longtime saints in our assembly to remain steadfast. Likewise, the Apostle Paul encouraged Timothy: "Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and faith unfeigned" (1 Timothy 1:5). Paul warned against pursuing myths and endless genealogies which promote speculation rather than the stewardship of God's work,  anchored in faith. The goal of instructions from the ministry is to develop love from a pure heart, clear conscience, and sincere faith. Unfortunately, some stray from these ideals and turn aside to wrangle over empty talk!
