We are all hypocrites to some degree, for none of us can live the gospel perfectly. But, although we have not 'apprehended' that to which God called us, deeper truths compel us to make changes. Thus forgetting those errors and omissions of the past, let us press towards the mark of our high calling in Christ Jesus. 

Brother Singh is honest about his past attraction to Christmas celebrations. However, 'greater' light has been given to him to change his thinking. So, the man of God has no alternative but to preach what the Holy Spirit reveals to him.
