And by no means is it only Christmas celebrations we ought to avoid. The Apostle Paul challenged the backslidden Body of Christ at Corinth: "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?" (1 Corinthians 6:9). Paul's bluntness was not popular. No prophet or apostle was well received because God's word confronts our sinfulness and hypocrisy. Moreover, Jesus was killed for the same reason.
