A preacher is supposed to be a "spiritual watchman" guarding his flock against the encroachment of sin, worldliness, and iniquity. However, if the preacher is uncalled by God, he is unqualified to perform his duty. The qualification for ministry has nothing to do with education. A person may hold several advanced degrees and still be unqualified because God did not call him! Invariably he will lead his congregation into iniquity.

Most people fail to understand the reality of "iniquity." They know that Jesus "was wounded for our transgressions {our sins}" but forget "and bruised for our iniquities." (Isaiah 53:5). So, our Lord also died to free us from the bondage of false religion.
