We were able to speak with Matt Kreutz, the CEO and Founder of Firebrand Artisan Breads in Oakland, Ca. In 2007 he managed to turn his lifelong passion for baking and working in the food service industry into Firebrand. After spending hours helping his mom make meals for the family by the age of 14 he got his first job in a bakery - and hasn’t worked outside of the baking industry since.
