We spoke with Jayd Swendseid. A loving husband and dad of four who has been a chief Los Angeles County Firefighter for the past 30 years. We were able to better understand how he has kept open mind to learning from and listening to his children.

Outside of his service to the Los Angeles community, he enjoys acting and has played roles in feature films, cable TV, sitcoms, soap operas, commercials and music videos. When he isn’t working or on set, he enjoys spending quality time with his family.
