Thought I'd do a quick NYC recap episode to go over all of the cool places I went to during my trip! This trip felt like a big growth moment for me because NYC brings up a lot of sour memories that I'd like to forget. I had dreamed of going to school and living in NYC since middle school. Once I was here and had to find a way to make this my home, I found it SO hard. That coupled with the pandemic taking away 1.5yrs of school, I fell out of love with NYC quickly. Being back the other week allowed me to remember why I love NYC and helped me to heal that period of my life. I hated looking back on it feeling like it was a dark hole because it was such a major dream come true. So this trip gave me the closure, happiness, and realization I needed.
