To kick off Season 3 of the Hear From a Student Podcast, I am joined by Alessandra Smith, a Georgia Tech grad with a degree in Environmental Engineering and minor in Sustainable Cities. This episode is a mini introduction to all things city planning and sustainability. 

Alessandra shares her past experiences as an undergrad student and her present experiences as a masters student at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, including how MIT has helped shape her as a confident, independent thinker as she seeks to innovate upon the existing social systems. 

She also discusses her passion for social equity and how thorough and thoughtful city planning can make a positive impact.
